Kick off your shoes and relax your feet—because therapy with me will never be a cliché.
Therapy isn’t just venting—I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?” I believe that true healing happens when we bring the mind and body into the same conversation. While most people think thoughts lead to behaviors, I’ve seen how often behaviors can shape thoughts and how powerful it can be to work counterintuitively to spark change. I specialize in helping people navigate intense emotions, identity shifts, and changes in mood. Most of my work centers on supporting individuals living with manic and dissociative behaviors such as in seen in borderline personality disorder (BPD), dissociative identity disorder (DID), and bipolar disorder, using approaches that are compassionate, structured, and focused on real change.
I am the founder of Counterintuitive Therapy, a present-focused and dynamic approach rooted in the blended traditions of Behavioral and Gestalt therapy, enriched with provocative methods. Counterintuitive Therapy is designed to meet clients in the intensity of their experience helping them redirect distress, transform reactivity, and reconnect with what feels deeply human. Some moments call for staying grounded in the here and now, while others invite us to uncover how the body has been keeping score of past experiences. Counterintuitive Therapy bridges both using the body’s signals not as obstacles, but as tools for lasting change. Some emotions and stress doesn’t fit meet the criteria of a one-size-fits-all model.
Whether you’re here to untangle complex emotions, challenge old patterns, or discover new ways of being, my goal is to create a space that’s real, nonjudgmental, and built for your kind of healing. That’s why I incorporate a range of behavioral and provocative methods and tools and more specialized ,eccentric approaches, including Ketamine & Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, creative expressive play, and counterintuitive skills, all tailored to fit your needs.
